These will be a gift and is exactly what we were looking for. I'm sure he will be excited. And about the only store who had them in stock.

Not so great for a grown man

I purchased these for my husband because my kids absolutely love the nike elite crew socks and don't want to wear anything else. My husband likes over the calf better and is always looking for a comfortable pair of socks to wear with his boots. He only lasted in them for an hour or two before he had aching feet.
Cons: too tight, too long (more like over the knee) and he is tall
